Environment of the Artist

Awesome photo. What is "photobucket"?
It is an awesome photo. I registered at Photobucket, where posted photos become common domain.
Every once in a while I'll need an illustration like this, and I also go there for animated gifs.
Does anyone have a feeling on whether I should still attribute the photographer? It is an etiquette thing, but in this instance it was some funky username.
I just used this photograph as pastel sketch exercise, as I thought the mist and central trees would be challenging tonally, I was right but found it interesting.
On attribution, having suffered from not being attributed in the past, I always can if possible, maybe not for this though as it is under a nickname and posted as free domain. In that case I try to message the artist and usually they are delighted that their work has inspired others.
Really enjoying flipping through your blogs. You're a fine artist and so willing to share.
Thanks for the comment, and the back-up on the question of attribution.
The last Photobucket I used, I was able to byline.
