Our area is known as the Bald Ridge. Relatively rural and very bucolic. I haven't done skies very much for the past few years, and I like the treatment that the Rives paper can give to a skyscape.

ohoh... i like the effect of different directions of land and sky in this one a lot - i assume that 'bucolic' means that kind of high rising clouds? very interesting effect!!

I am happy you noticed that directional thing, Gesa. It turns out that I never do that, for various reasons. It was just something that happened, and it worked.

Bucolic(must be an American term), think of cows in the pasture. Pastoral and pleasant.
