Beautiful painting, Casey. The heavy sky with only a few touches of brightness above the treeline really adds to the quiet mood. Your colors harmonize so well - do you pick them out ahead of time?

No, I don't pick them out, but rather start with one or two and then respond to that.

Thank you, Brenda. I have to confess that I am about to post the better photo of this, and the colors go from mild to #POP*! I am such a dork at photography.
