Poll Results

With the polling closed, I have to admit to a three-way tie. Vivien commented that she favors Unison but her vote didn't tally, so I see it as Unison, Windsor & Newton and Ludwig in a tie. If that's wrong, Vivien, let me know. This happened once before when I tried to conduct a poll about blog content, and so I'm getting a dim opinion of the value of these things.

As the president of this bar, I will throw in the tie-breaker and decide for Unison to be the next brand reviewed, then probably Terry Ludwig and we'll see where we go from there. If I had been left to my own devices, I actually would've went with Schmincke!

Thanks to everyone who participated.

hi Casey - I did indeed vote Unison - how strange it registered for something else! gremlins?

I love the rich marks they make and the super size Unisons are lovely too for large works or areas.

I do like Senneliers but their fragility annoys me a bit!

All I know is that your comment came in first of anyones, and no vote for Unisons registered until much later. Perhaps it did get mis-directed.

I have the used all four sizes of Sennelier available during my tenure, and I do use two sizes of Unisons. Many of my large foregrounds of light green are courtesy of Unison's big sticks.

I could have had a mad moment and hit the wrong spot!

looks like I have to check for hanging chads...

I think you may've rung up for W&N or Rembrandt because one of those got a vote around the time of your comment, but not Unison as your comment text indicated.

Anyway, your text comment for Unisons made it 3.

It'll be a few days, but luckily my Unisons are well used and easy to crit. Thanks, Gesa.
