The Pastel Colorist - Casey Klahn

Giselle Borzov's Art Now has published an interview with me. Pour a cup of Joe and take a break while you read a little bit about my background and how I arrived at my Colorist Art signature.

Got my coffee, enjoyed the interview! Are you ever going to be showing on the east coast? D.C.?

Thanks for reading that interview, Mechelle.

The way to make a DC show happen would be for you to talk me up to galleries that you patronize there. I did get a Best of Show award from the former chief curator at the Smithsonian Museum, if you want to brag me up.

I am looking for a venue in NYC, but then again, who isn't? I do belong to the Pastel Society of America in NYC, which is my only foot in the door, there. My mentor from the Smithsonian, Mr. Michael Monroe, did run a gallery in NYC for a short time. Maybe I'd better pay that guy a visit...

Thanks much for your own reading here, Mechelle.

Usually, when I am visiting a prospective gallery (art direction that looks like mine - contemporary) then we look up my blog site right there on their PC. At my blog, one opens the label: "My Artworks". Oh, yes. I mean my blog: TheColorist.blogspot.
If they show any interest, I send a packet.
You are my new best friend, of course.
