Got my coffee, enjoyed the interview! Are you ever going to be showing on the east coast? D.C.?
Thanks for reading that interview, Mechelle. The way to make a DC show happen would be for you to talk me up to galleries that you patronize there. I did get a Best of Show award from the former chief curator at the Smithsonian Museum, if you want to brag me up.I am looking for a venue in NYC, but then again, who isn't? I do belong to the Pastel Society of America in NYC, which is my only foot in the door, there. My mentor from the Smithsonian, Mr. Michael Monroe, did run a gallery in NYC for a short time. Maybe I'd better pay that guy a visit...Thanks much for your own reading here, Mechelle.
Okay! Do you send out media packs once you touch base with people? Or should I refer them to your site? Uhhhhh...new at this. I promise I won't make you look like an idiot. lol
Usually, when I am visiting a prospective gallery (art direction that looks like mine - contemporary) then we look up my blog site right there on their PC. At my blog, one opens the label: "My Artworks". Oh, yes. I mean my blog: TheColorist.blogspot.If they show any interest, I send a packet. You are my new best friend, of course.
