I never realized how involved pastel painting was till I read the supply list for this workshop I'm taking. I should have having seen your beautiful work, like this one, with such depth of field. I like the abstract quality too--the dark cloud stopped still in the sky by the muted landscape below. Interesting. Poetic.
Great sky! Didn't you say once that in many paintings of yours is not much sky or do I remember that incorrectly?

ReplyDeleteThanks for looking, Linda. The use of space is a metaphor for the sky, I think. Still pondering, and it looks like I may have to do another.
